RED FRUIT SALAD WITH BERRIES

Remove the stems to hull,then cut the strawberries in half.
Ingredients
- Syrup - 50g ( caster sugar)
- dry red wine - 125 ml
- 1 star anise
- 1 tbsp lemon rind ( finely chopped)
- strawberries 251g, (hulled and halved)
- blueberries - 150 g
- Raspberries, Mulberries or other Red Berries - 151g
- Cherries - 251g
- 5 small red plums
- Yogurt - stones removed and quartered low-fat yoghurt, to serve

Steps
- Take a small saucepan to make syrup.
- Add 1/2 cup water and bring it to boil.
- Now put sugar,star anise, lemon rind, and wine in it.
- Cook on medium heat for 3 minutes and keep stirring to dissolve the sugar.
- Set aside to cool down.
- When it cool down then strain the syrup.
- Put all the fruits in a big bowl.
- Now mix all the syrup in fruits. coat the fruits in syrup well.
- Refrigerate for 1 and half hour.
- Garnish with syrup and yoghurt. Now it's ready to serve.
